| We believe that we were created to bring Glory to God. We know that He wants to have a personal and intimate relationship with each of us. We know that God is in control of all and that He commonly uses situations that may seem difficult for His own purposes. We know that His ways and thoughts are higher than ours. We may not always understand why He allows things to happen, but we know that He will use every situation for His Glory. We also believe that we can serve Him better as a single unit, and that is the main reason behind our marriage. We believe in the Great Commission from the New Testament and seek to live it everyday. We believe that the Lord is returning....very soon. We want to be ready. We want to be obedient to his direction in all that we do. Our goal is to give Him complete control of our future, finances, family, and careers. |

| Some quick facts about the Balkans -Over 40% unemployment -3 major people groups (Bosnian, Croats, Serbs) -Many people who do work do not receive a regular paycheck -More land-mines per square mile than any other place on the planet (250 AVG) -Less than 1/10 of 1 percent evangelical (.01) -They only have the New Testament in their language -The Turkish word Balkan means "wooded ridge" or "mountain" -The 1st World War began after an assassination in downtown Sarajevo -Extremely fertile land....great for agriculture |
